Belper Market Returns With Social Distancing

Belper Market will return to the Market Place on the 11th July.

The market will take place between 8.30am and 1.30pm, and will continue from this point, on the second Saturday of each month.

The council advises that local produce including bread, cheese, honey and meat will all be available.

The market committee, have taken extra time to make sure that people attending the market are safe.

The social distancing which has been arranged will see the market stalls spread out over a larger area, with stalls in both the Market Place and the Memorial Gardens.

All those attending are asked to respect social distancing.

In addition to regular and new stalls, members of the Youth Council will be present, Belper Fringe will be represented, and the editor of Nailed will also be there seeking new volunteers and subscribers (as well as selling fabric masks for everyone’s safety.)  Look for the community stall to find these.
