New Belper Eco Shop Planned

A new Belper Eco shop ‘B-Hive’ is in the early stages of development and they are looking for local people to help and support their venture.

The name B-Hive was chosen by the group “to reflect individuals working together to create something special. B-Hive exists to champion local, ethical and green goods and offer a space for people to meet, talk and share ideas and information.”

Their slogan is:

Think local. Think sustainable. Think thriving Belper eco hub.

Creative? You might be able to help.

Calling all creatives, would you like to help design their logo? They welcome all design submissions for a new logo before the end of February. The final design will be chosen in March and premiered at their first market stall in April.

Please email designs or contact Becky to arrange submitting your ideas at becksy14@gmx.co.uk

The B-Hive group are pleased to be providing refreshments at the forthcoming production of Oliver Twist. It will be their first event and they will be offering hot and cold drinks before the performance with drinks and homemade biscuits available during the interval. They will be using Fairtrade, environmentally friendly and local produce and products in line with the values and ethics that underpin B-Hive.

Becky said: “It’s great to be involved with a production by Red Earth Theatre which is supported by Live and Local and will be a fantastic way to raise awareness of B-Hive in Belper. All proceeds from refreshments will go towards funding B-Hive startup costs. We look forward to seeing you there.”
