Police Appeal For Witnesses After Belper Pub Assault

Derbyshire Constabulary are appealing for information about an assault which happened in the Greyhound Inn pub, in Whitemoor Lane, leaving a man with serious facial injuries.

The 43-year-old victim told the police that he was in the pub with friends when he was approached by a man who verbally abused him, and then punched him in the face a number of times.

The incident happened sometime between 5pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, May 26.
