Rough Truffles community choir is looking for a new musical director.
Established for over 15 years, Rough Truffles meets weekly in Belper, Derbyshire, on Monday nights.
As a community choir they aim to be open and accessible to all-comers and practice democratic decision-making. Their musical style embraces world, folk, protest and peace, and some members own compositions. They sing by ear and unaccompanied, and they usually give a small number of public performances during the year, and lend choral support to local charitable and environmental projects where agreed upon.
Anyone interested in the post which will commence in January 2017 should please contact the choir secretary, attaching a CV, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to lead a half-session of singing in order for the choir to select the most suitable person for the post.
The deadline for applications is mid-October.
