Carol Hodge And Simon Wells At The Queens Head – Nov 3rd

Coming next, an evening of words and music drawing from the widest pool of talent both local and national. Carol Hodge should need little introduction having supplied keyboards for Steve Ignorant’s Slice of Life.

If you were lucky enough to have attended a benefit gig last year, you will also know that Carol is also an accomplished singer and songwriter with her own body of work. Now, in collaboration with Simon Wells, formerly of legendary punk band Snuff, she makes a welcome return to Belper.

Addictive Philosophy Acoustic add more originality along with the bard of Belper himself, Mr Chris Butler and with a new volume of poetry with foreword by none less than Benjamin Zephaniah, Sophie Sparham completes a line-up to die for.

Tickets are £6 and are available at the venue or contact mjones572@hotmail.co.uk.

Doors at 8:00 pm
