Music at The Thorn Tree Inn: Spindrift and Jiji LaVolpe

Sunday offers “an evening of accoustic soul, folk and pop”, with two performances, both in the Thorn Tree Inn.

The gig starts at 4pm and features local acts, Jiji LaVolpe and Spindrift

Jiji LaVolpe

Jiji LaVolpe is a singer songwriter from Belper, who plays soulful acoustic originals and covers. He has just released his latest song Rhythm and Soul, which is influenced by 60/70s Motown and soul artists such as Stevie Wonder, Al Green and Sam Cooke.

Spindrift

Spindrift are an acoustic / cello duo also from Belper. Mixing the delicate sultry tones of the stringed instruments, with the fiery passion of Annette’s (vocalist) voice, this is a duo that will soothe your heart then jolt it back to life.
