Morgan Cars to Visit Mill

Heage windmill opened last weekend for the first time in 2019 and enjoyed good weather and lots of visitors.

We quickly follow this with a visit from the Morgan Sports club with large number of these iconic British cars will be on display, The cars will arrive at around 11am and various models of the car will be on show until 3.30pm. This will be the first time these cars have been to the beautiful site of Heage windmill, which will itself be open and offering guided tours.

The ‘formal’ opening of the mill will be at 11am on Saturday 20^th April 2019 by local man John Allsop, who was born in Heage, who has long supported the mill and arranges the much loved tractor rallies to the mill. He will of course arrive driving his own Fordson Tractor.

 

The windmill will be open during 2019 (11-00am to 4-00pm) every weekend from

April 6^th until the end of October. Large, free, car park!

Admission Charges for 2019

Adults £4-00 Concessions, including Gold Cards £3-50, Children (5-16) £2-00 (parents can buy one and get one free for children in the same age group) Children under 5 are free.

Organised Adult parties of up to 10 people – £50-00. For each additional person £5-00 is payable).

School Parties and other children’s groups -Standard charge of £40.00 for up to 28 people (contact Lynn on 01773 715177)
