Transition Belper’s Green Exchange – February 23rd At No28

February’s Transition Belper Green Exchange Café will be held at No 28, Market Place, Belper on Saturday 23rd February from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Transition Belper said: “The Green Exchange is our friendly space where you can find out more about our projects and the aims and objectives of Transition Belper. In addition we will have coffee and cakes for sale, the book swap and Transition Belper stalls.”

Check out the Transition Belper Facebook page for more details.

As usual there will be a book swap stall, the tetra pak collection, other Transition Belper stalls and the Café.

The Green Exchange is the monthly opportunity to find out more about Transition Belper’s projects and its aims and objectives.

The tetra pak collection at the Green Exchange continues to be very successful. The tetra pak collection bin will be situated at the back of No. 28 and is accessed via the path to the left of the steps. The bin will be unlocked between 10.00am and 1 pm only.

Please note that the tetra pak collection relies on the goodwill of all those involved. Please do not leave bags beside the bin if you miss the collection point and the bin is locked. The volunteers who collect the waste also ask that you “wash and squash” the tetra paks before putting them in the bin.

You can see dates of the next cafe on the flyer below.
