Belper Relatives of First World War Veterans Sought

On the weekend of the 1st/2nd/3rd July 2016 Richard Pinkett is helping arrange several commemorative events around Belper to mark the first day of the Battle of the Somme.

He is trying to contact any living relatives of the 14 men from Belper who perished on that terrible day who wish to attend or take part in any of the commemorations. The men are:
