Joe Solo @ Belper Rugby Club

Unite Community presents a We Shall Overcome night featuring Joe Solo and Chris Butler.

Musician, poet, broadcaster, historian and washing machine engineer, Joe Solo was the co-founder of the movement in 2015. With the slogan, “with a raised fist and a helping hand”, Joe and fellow musicians have performed over 1000 gigs across the UK and raised the best part of half a million pounds to support food banks and shelters for the homeless.

Chris Butler has also performed countless gigs across the UK including numerous benefits in his hometown of Belper. Sadly, we are soon to lose Chris to the lures of the seaside so this may be his last gig in Belper for some time.

In the 21st century no child should go to school hungry nor working family rely on food banks to survive the month so Unite Community are proud to support the WSO movement.

Admission is free but donations of non-perishable food and cash are welcome.
