Go Green Café: Bicycles and Transport Theme

Visitors to No28 are being asked to bring their bikes in for maintenance advice.

The newly rebranded ‘Go Green Café’ at No 28, Market Place, Belper on 22nd April (10am – 1pm) will have a transport theme with expert cycle mechanic Aidan Leheup on hand to offer people bike maintenance advice.

Bring your bikes along and Aiden will impart great maintenance tips. The Derwent Valley Cycleway will be updating visitors on their progress and the cafe may well have Sustrans in attendance. Of interest will be the lorry parked outside for you to sit in the driver’s seat and get an idea of a driver’s blind spots to hopefully aid awareness.

In addition Transition Belper keep the swap table for seeds, seedlings, plants and they will have the usual B-Hive wares on sale. The Arts Festival will also be in attendance as Belper nears the merry month of May.

As usual, Janet and the team will have an array of cakes and biscuits to go with the tea and coffee plus something savoury – possibly jacket potatoes again.

For more information see the Transition Belper page here.
