Missing Belper Woman Found Dead

On 21st December we published an appeal for information on the wherabouts of Janet Lomas, who has been missing from Belper since 13th November.

She was spoken to by phone the week before but was reported missing on 19th December.

On Christmas Eve, 24th December 2019, police officers attended a property in Belper in the early hours of the morning, and sadly Janet was found deceased.

There are no suspicious circumstances and her family and the coroner have been informed.
