A Stonewall Challenge To Belper Sports Clubs

Stonewall is currently running a campaign called “Come Out Active!”  It’s a sports campaign and it is necessary because 40% of LGBTQ+ people don’t think that sport in Britain is welcoming.

It starts today!

The challenge from Stonewall is to, “Challenge anti-LGBT language. Celebrate LGBT people in sport. Share your story.  Wear your Rainbow Laces and show you care.”

Anyone can get involved to show support.  You don’t have to be part of a club.  The greatest impact will be in clubs making welcoming noises from today until the 30th.
