Last week Belper residents took part in Walk For Life 3, a three day charity walk to promote people signing up for organ donation, for which there is always a great need. The second goal of the charity is to fund a dialysis machine for use by the Royal Derby Hospital, which would be used both at the hospital and so that patients can continue their vital treatment whilst away from Derby at a respite location in north Wales.
The trekkers (en route to Matlock Bath), as the Walk For Life 3 Charity fundraising continues. Day three and we’re given a warm welcome from manager Samantha at the Hurt Arms, Ambergate. Thank you Samantha & Hurt Arms!
