Heage Windmill Gets Into TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame With 5th Excellence Award

We are delighted to learn from ‘Trip Advisor’ that for the fifth consecutive year as a result of the many reports from satisfied visitors, Heage Windmill has been awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2019. Having achieved five years of Excellence the windmill now enters into the hard-won Trip Advisor ‘Hall of Fame’ and we are delighted to be able to display our new logo.

We are indeed proud of the way we present the Windmill to visitors and note that many come back to savour the atmosphere and views from the mill multiple times. Alan Eccleston, Chairman of the Heage Windmill Trust said, “The award recognises that this was only achieved as a result of the commitment of our team of dedicated volunteers and we offer them our thanks for making such consistent awards possible.”

Trip Advisor is a worldwide organisation which seeks to provide travellers with up to date information on restaurants, businesses and associated travel to make journeys more satisfactory and fulfilling. To be recognised as ‘Excellent’ ratings need to be least four out of five over 12 months.

Trip Advisor says:
