Changes to Sixes Buses
Trent Barton are changing the bus timetable for the Sixes buses and adding extra buses, in what they are calling “the biggest revamp of the sixes since 2013.” It is being called “Super Sixes”.
The changes include:
- buses between Belper & Derby increasing to every 10 mins (was every 15 minutes)
- 3 extra buses to help buses be on time
- 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 will all drop off along Full Street in Derby, in addition to the Bus Station
- 6X – hourly fast service going non stop to Derby
Trent Barton say that these improvements will ensure “more seats, more often” and aims to provide a more reliable service.
The changes come into effect this Sunday, 26th May 2019 and it may take a little time for Google to pick up on the changes, so check the new timetables HERE.
The Sixes team from Trent Barton will be on the Market Place in Belper between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, 25th May, giving away “free goodies” and answering any questions you may have.
