Live And Local presents Tyhai, an Indo-Celtic fusion band at Belper Rugby Club on May 16.

From Welsh airs and dances to rhythms and raga, Tyhai play an intoxicating fusion of world music. A trio who are unafraid to push musical frontiers while never forgetting the need to entertain.

An exciting collaboration between three musicians from Wales, Dylan Fowler (guitar), Pete Stacey (saxophone/ flute) and Rajesh David(vocals) harmonizing the airs and dance melodies of Wales and the Celtic world with the ragas and rhythms of India.

In the genre of world music, a beautiful blend of the different styles and influences of the individual musicians, from Jazz to Celtic roots and folk to classical and contemporary Indian music, creates a hypnotic and  dynamic soundscape.
