Dementia Events for Belper Arts Festival: Celebration of Living Well

In line with Accessible Belper’s aim to make all Belper events accessible to those with disabilities, there is to be a special dementia day as part of the Belper Arts Festival.

The day long series of events offers a movement session, as well as opportunities to try weaving and earth painting.  Following these events, Johnny Victory will be performing well known songs from the 20s onwards. All of this will be followed by a 50s-60s dance.

The day is not just for those with dementia, but also welcomes families, friends and anyone who wants to learn more and be involved.
