CREATIVE BELPERWHAT'S ON

Changes To Belper Recorders Group’s Tudor Day

In March we reported on the Belper Recorder Group receiving a grant, and detailed upcoming events, which included a Tudor Day.
This event was due to be a Tudor recorders workshop, led by Society of Recorder Players (SRP) conductor Moira Usher.

The Belper Recorders Group has informed us that due to circumstances beyond their control, the Tudor Day Workshop has been replaced with a “Playing Day”, which is to be led by Ruth Burbidge.

The Belper Recorders Group says, “Ruth is a highly qualified and respected player and teacher, well known for her performing and tutoring skills in the UK and abroad.”

Music will be available for recorders in a range from Garklein to Contrabass.

The venue and time of the event remains the same. The new event will take place at Strutt’s Centre, Derby Road Belper DE56 1UU, running from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday 11th May 2019.

The new event still costs £12 per person.

This event is part of the Belper Arts Festival.
