Garden Centre Scam in Duffield

A male has been going door to door at an elderly persons residential complex asking residents if they would like any compost or other gardening items.

The male stated that he worked for a garden centre near to Derby called Cross Lane Farm Centre.

Some residents have given over money for items which the male says he will return with the following day, however, the male never returns with items.

Investigations into this incident are still on going but please be aware and if possible pass this message on to elderly relatives or neighbours to try and stop this happening to others.
