Derbyshire Wildlife Trust Events in April

Family Forest School Fun

Come and join Derbyshire Wildlife Trust for our Forest School sessions in the woods at Millfield’s near Carsington Water. During these sessions we will explore the woods and get involved in activities such as learning how to build dens, taking part in imaginative play and arts and crafts. Typically we learn about using tools and how to light fires so we can cook on them.

The next session takes place on Saturday 13th April 2019.

For younger school-aged children the Family Forest School session will take place from 10.30am – 12 noon.

Family Forest School 7 years+, our Forest School session for families with children aged 7 years to 15 years old, will have all the same fun games, crafts and activities as our other family sessions, but are planned with slightly older children in mind. This session will take place from 1.30pm – 3pm.

Meet at Millfield’s car park, Carsington Water, DE6 3JS. The cost is £4 per child and £2 per adult for all sessions. Please wear suitable clothes for the weather. Numbers are limited so booking is essential, call Derbyshire Wildlife Trust on 01773 881188 during office hours.
