BABINGTON HOSPITAL.PAST,PRESENT AND …..FUTURE ?
Under threat of closure, Babington Hospital is still an iconic building and invaluable resource to the town. At the moment,there is considerable doubt over where the hospital’s services will be transferred in the event of closure with planning seemingly stalled on the Derwent St site.
Please come and join us at No 28,Market Place from 11.00am until 12.45 pm on Saturday March 16th to share your stories and your memories of Babington.Perhaps you were born there or remember the care given to a family member. Bring memories and old photographs if possible.
At the same time let’s discuss our vision of a community hospital and health provision fit for the 21st Century.
