Town Wind Band Out And About This Christmas

Belper Town Wind Band’s busy programme of Christmas events was launched at an evening concert held at St Mark’s Church, Openwoodgate in November.

A week later followed the lights switch on in Belper Town Centre.

The band would like to extend a thank you to all the stallholders and shoppers for inspiring members to play on during a breezy Saturday Farmer’s Market.

The gig at the Hop Inn offered an opportunity to enter into the Christmas spirit. The food and drink provided after the carols was appreciated. Freezing rain cut short the performance in the courtyard of Brettles Mill.

Out of town the band journeyed to Matlock Golf Club; an engagement at Chatsworth concluded this year’s programme.

Belper Town Wind Band starts up again on Tuesday January 8th to rehearse the Summer Programme. The band has members across the age spectrum, playing a range of wind instruments.
