Green Exchange – October 27th At No 28

This month Transition Belper’s Green Exchange will be on Saturday October 27 10.am – 1.00 pm at No 28 on the Market Place, Belper.

The café at Green Exchange is being run by the volunteers at Nailed (Belper’s independent online newspaper). Nailed is now nearly three years old, so come along to support local journalism and to see how you can get involved.

In addition the Green Exchange will have its book swap stall, the tetra-pak collection and other Transition Belper stalls.

Tony Cooper will be on hand to provide energy saving / tariff switching advice for the autumn / winter seasons.

Transition Belper have taken the decision to no longer stock refillables as these can now be bought from Sues Sustainables.

Tetra Pak Collection

There will be a Tetra Pak collection between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

Please note that the the Tetra Pak collection relies on the goodwill of all those involved so please do not leave bags beside the bin if you miss a collection point.

If you really struggle to make Saturday mornings, email Roger (quizrunner@hotmail.com), and he may be able to pick them up from your house at some point.
