Great British Spring Clean Event Rescheduled

On Saturday, April 28, at 10am the Town Council will be joining the rest of the country in the rescheduled Keep Britain Tidy’s ‘Great British Spring Clean.’

Following on from the successful “Clean for the Queen” last year and the Community Litter pick in 2015, the Town Council is taking part in Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean.

The Great British Spring Clean was cancelled in March following bad weather as snow hit the region.

The Great British Spring Clean is described as a “campaign with one simple ambition. To bring together people from across the country to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and coastline.”

“Through March 2017, we want to inspire 500,000 people to get outdoors, get active and help clear up the rubbish that lies around us.”
