All those who have made representations on the Plan, or have otherwise asked to be kept informed, have been notified of the submission.

The Local Plan will now be subject to independent examination by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State.  Inspector Karen Baker (DipTP, MA,  DipMP, MRTPI) has been appointed to conduct the examination.

Part of the examination process will involve hearing sessions which will be open to the public to attend, but only those invited to participate in the sessions by the Inspector will have the opportunity to speak.

All communication to and from the Inspector during the examination process will be managed by the independent Programme Officer.

Once confirmed, all details relating to the examination process will be made available on Amber Valley Borough Council’s website.
