Y NOT Festival Announces Massive Headline Acts For 2018

Y Not festival has announced a massive line-up of bands for its 2018 event, with The Libertines, Jamiroquai and Catfish and The Bottlemen as headliners.

The festival will now be held at Aston Hill Farm in Pikehall in Derbyshire, and will run from July 26-29.

The Libertines will be opening headliners on the first night of the festival (July 27), with Catfish and the Bottlemen leading the line-up on the Saturday night (July 28). Jamiroquai, playing as a UK exclusive at the festival, will then close the weekend on July 29.

Extensive changes have been made since last years partially cancelled event, with the festival moving to a nearby site and improved staff and camping arrangements.

Festival organiser Simon Mawbey said: “We’re so happy to be back with our biggest line up to date. There are a lot of changes and improvements being made to make sure the festival is the best it’s ever been in 13 years and I’m excited that we can come back stronger than ever.”

The Libertines

Joining them are indie legends the Manic Street Preachers alongside northern champions Kaiser chiefs for non-stop singing and head banging all weekend long. All this plus Seasick Steve, Buzzcocks, The Sherlocks, Tom Grennan, Peace, Moose Blood, Shame, Lucy Spraggan, Tom Walker, Pale Waves, Coasts, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Jaws, Jade Bird, Turbowolf, The Orielles, Sam Fender, Mullally, King No-One, Redfaces and many more.
