“Seizing The Moment – New Year, New Nursery” How Treetops Alton Manor In Belper Decided To Do Things Differently

Alton Manor Nursery has started the new year off with a new approach to how they believe early years care and education should be delivered to the children and families of Belper.

Throughout January they have bene holding open days and enrolment week drives that will continue throughout the year.

Stefanie Reardon, the Nursery Manager, says: “I believe that we truly offer the alternative and one of the best childcare and education options locally,  and I am proud of what Alton Manor provides. We believe that Alton Manor is a place for the community,  and all its families. We run community projects, team up with community groups and run exciting sessions straight from the fantastic purpose build learning environments Alton Manor has for the whole community to access.”

She added:  “Above all we believe in having FUN ! We know that happy children and parents make for really amazing and happy childcare – and that’s what we are all about , happiness and fun ”

“Come along and see the wishing tree fixed high to the nursery building, or the recycled vertical flower garden , why not stop off and visit the fairies in the community fairy garden, or walk along the rainbow stepping stones into our learning environments where you can sit under the huge indoor tree and read a story … Alton Manor is the place to be if you are looking for the alternative in childcare.”

Alton Manor offer various sessions to meet everyone’s childcare needs from birth up until school and provide free 2 3 and 4 yr. old childcare,  as well as providing both the 15 hours and 30 hours government childcare schemes to meet working parents needs.

They are priced at £45 for a full day or £180 for a whole week.

Lynne L, one of the parents with her child currently at the nursery, said: “I have been so pleased with how my 18 month old has settled into nursery. The staff are so friendly, open and show such warmth and care to my child. It is incredibly reassuring to know that he is in such capable hands. My child is really growing in confidence and has made fantastic progress during his time at Treetops.”

J Matthews said: “My child joined Treetops in June and I couldn’t be happier. The staff are welcoming and I feel he is well looked after. I believe he gets a lot out of coming to nursery and has benefitted from the social interaction and activities he does. I like how the nursery is modern and purpose built, the rooms feel spacious and are light and airy. I’ve seen the older children’s learning spaces and I look forward to my son’s progression through them.” –

Alton Manor has recently joined in partnership with the Busy Bees childcare group and are excited for the year ahead.
