The Belper North Mill Trust Seeks New Trustees

Belper North Mill Trust have recently appointed a new Chair and are now looking for new trustees to help with the challenges ahead.

The Belper North Mill Trust runs the Derwent Valley Visitor Centre and a small, independent museum in part of ‘Strutt’s North Mill’, a former cotton-spinning mill in Belper, Derbyshire within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

They are looking for new trustees who “can add value to what they do, who share the ambitions of the Trust and who are prepared to get involved with their vital transformation projects and help them achieve their ambitions.”

Trustees should be able to demonstrate achievements in their professional, academic or chosen career or the voluntary sector, and illustrate how they can they use their skills for the Trust’s benefit. They value enthusiasm, clear thinking, commitment, and communication skills. Presently, they have trustees with legal, architectural, historical, heritage, museum and accountancy skills and candidates that can add to their skills base will be appreciated.

Trustees are appointed for a three-year term and may be re-appointed.
