KUNST 15 – An Accent Waiting To Happen

Kunst Gallery Belper welcome the writer, actor, musician, curator, teacher, adventurer Richard Strange to the Unstables Bar for KUNST 15 – an accent waiting to happen

Richard was the founder and front man of seminal mid-1970s protopunk art rock band Doctors of Madness and has been a monstrous force in the British arts for over 5 (five) decades. Check his wiki….a wonderful creator of all things good in the world.

He’s leaving the comfort of the smoke and travelling up the M1 to Derbyshire after a 42 year hiatus, he was last in Derby in 1975 with the Doctors of Madness who performed at the old college (now the university). So, come gather for an intimate night of entertainment in the form of chat, imagery, music and film (and any old question we can throw at this true gentleman of the arts).

And if that ain’t enough, supporting Richard will be the improvised duo Sturt & Woodcock, no strangers to Belper, Dave & Julian will bring their very own brand of sublime bass and bewildering wordage to the shed in what is likely to be a night of stupefying entertainment in the heart of Belper.

Entry is £4 on the door.
