Boiler Company Sticks Up For Belper Ladies Hockey Club

Local employer Vaillant Group has announced that it will be sponsoring the Belper Ladies Hockey Club (BLHC).

The sponsorship deal ensures that the BLHC 5th team can purchase new white away kits which will display the Vaillant logo as the primary sponsor.

Alice Woolley, Marketing Director for Vaillant Group UK, said: “We are delighted to have had the chance to support BLHC in this way, they are a wonderful part of our community here in Belper and we jumped at the chance to get involved.”

“Vaillant would like to encourage everyone to support the local teams and to go and watch a match or to attend one of the weekly training sessions where newcomers are always welcome. Who knows, we might just discover the next Hollie Webb!”

Belper Ladies Hockey Club was established in 1920 and has grown in to one of the most successful clubs in the Midlands, and junior achievements at club through to national level, keep them at the forefront of junior hockey in the country.

The season for BLHC began in September and Vaillant wish the team all the best for the games ahead.

New kit for BLHC

There have been strong links between the town of Belper and Vaillant Group with a boiler manufacturing plant being a part of the town for over 50 years. This sponsorship adds to the growing list of local initiatives by Vaillant Group including the sponsoring of the first team kit for Belper United Football Club.
