Recipe Wall To Feature At Belper Winter Food Festival
Belper Arts Festival is organising a ‘Wall Of Christmas Recipes’ at the Belper Winter Food Festival on 3 December.
Community groups, cafes, restaurants, clubs, businesses and individuals are invited to submit their favourite Christmas recipes. Every one received will be exhibited on King Street and visitors to the Festival will be able to copy them down or photograph them.
“It’s a new initiative and a chance to pick up new ideas for Christmas food. It can be anything foody,” said Arts Festival Co-Ordinator George Gunby. He added, “It’s a chance for groups and businesses to get their names in front of thousands of visitors. It’s free advertising.”
The idea follows on the hugely popular “Writing On The Wall” poetry feature held during the Arts Festival earlier in the year.
Entry is free and all you have to do is Email the recipe to nonnel@sky.com or post it to 31a Field Lane Belper Derbyshire DE56 1DD. All recipes must arrive on or before 23 November 2017.
Entrants are encouraged to include logos and addresses. These will be featured on the recipes on the wall.
Although these two are complete food and not a recipe as such … they asked if I’d tried Christmas cake spread on with Stilton cheese … first I’d ever heard but apparently beautiful … I’ll be at the food festival
