Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to Open Shop in Belper
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is opening a new charity shop at 6 King Street on 15th November.
The Wildlife Trust says the shop “will help support the Trust’s work across Derbyshire, including helping to run our 46 nature reserves, our conservation work and our education work…we are looking for people to donate gorgeous, pre-loved, clothing, books, Bric-a-Brac and of course collectables and antiques.”
Ellen Fineran, Commercial Manager at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, said:
We are extremely excited about opening our new shop. It means we can provide the people of Belper and Derbyshire with an easy opportunity to support their local wildlife and wild spaces, whilst buying something lovely for themselves!
Anyone wishing to donate items to the shop can do so by dropping bags off at the shop from 15th November during opening hours or at the Trust’s HQ in Middleton between 9-5, Mondays to Fridays.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at the shop can find out more by calling the Trust on 01773 881188 or emailing enquiries@derbyshirewt.co.uk.
Belper has also recently seen changes to our local Coop store, with the introduction of clothing racks selling Burton and Dorothy Perkins clothing ranges.
