Two New PCSOs Join Belper’s Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team

Two new Police Community Support Officers have taken to the streets of Belper.

Jamie Wragg and Liam Darby are the latest members of the Belper Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, having recently completed their initial training at Derbyshire Constabulary’s Headquarters in Ripley.

Jamie, who is from the Nottinghamshire area, is a former prison officer and who wanted to change his career.

Liam lives in the Derby area and has a background in customer services and distribution for local firms including in Alfreton and Derby. He used to play rugby and enjoys the gym.

Temporary Sergeant Gareth Cole said: I’m pleased to welcome two new PCSOs to the Belper Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team.

“Jamie and Liam have already been out and about getting to know their communities, and helping us to maintain a visible presence and targeting any local concerns around crime and anti-social behaviour.”
