Belper Farmers Market – September 9th

This months farmers’ market is held on Saturday September 9 from 8.30 am to 1pm

Taking place on the second Saturday of every month on Belper’s historic Market Place the market offers visitors a great opportunity to purchase quality produce, fresh from the field and direct from the supplier.

Walk around the market and explore No 28 to sample the best food and arts Belper has to offer. From real ale, to home cured meats, farm cheeses to artisan breads, you will find a wide selection of quality ingredients.

All the food products have been grown, reared, baked, brewed, smoked, pickled, processed or caught locally by the stallholder. Goods coming from within a 30 mile radius of the market are supported by the council and preference is given to the most local producer and organic producers rather than non-food products.

A fresh fishmonger from Grimsby will start trading at the market from 14 November 2015 and will be attending every future market.

Free parking is available in the Coppice car park.

Please be aware that it is illegal to park on the Market Place other than in the designated parking bays. Parking enforcement is in place and illegally parked vehicles will be issued with a parking ticket
