Larks In The Park Starts In Style

The Larks in the Park Season of Concerts in Belper River Gardens opened with home players Belper Town Wind Band.  The concerts sponsored by Belper Town Council take place every Sunday at 2pm until end of August.

The Larks in the Park events started on Sunday 4 June and will run every Sunday apart from 9 July 2017 until 3 September 2017, 2pm – 4pm.

These are free events suitable for all ages so why not bring a picnic and a chair and have a relaxing afternoon in a beautiful setting.

The Belper Town Wind Band has worked hard to present a competent programme of music to take round the county for its Summer Season. Included in the programme is a new arrangement of Singing in the Rain, just to catch the onlookers out. Umbrellas were required on an otherwise sunny afternoon. Next stop is the Crowning of the Carnival Queen at Little Eaton on Sunday 25 June.

Details of future concerts, rehearsals and how to join can be found at belpertownwindband.co.uk.

New members are always welcome.
