WHAT'S ON

Belper Farmers Market – April 8th

This months Farmers’ Market is held on Saturday the 11th March from 8.30am to 1pm

Taking place on the second Saturday of every month on Belper’s historic Market Place the market offers visitors a great opportunity to purchase quality produce, fresh from the field and direct from the supplier.

Walk around the market and explore No 28 to sample the best food and arts Belper has to offer. From real ale, to home cured meat, farm cheeses to artisan breads you will find a wide selection of quality ingredients.

All the food products have been grown, reared, baked, brewed, smoked, pickled, processed or caught locally by the stallholder. Goods coming from within a 30 mile radius of the market are supported by the council and preference is given to the most local producer and organic producers rather than non-food products.

B-Hive will be at Belper Farmers Market on Saturday 8th April 8.30am-1.00pm. This will be their last Farmers Market stall and as a special treat for all their customers they have 20% off toiletries and cleaning products. Refills for the Bio D washing up and laundry liquids will still be available at the go green! café on 22nd April.

A fresh fishmonger from Grimsby will start trading at the market from 14 November 2015 and will be attending every future market.

Free parking is available in the Coppice car park.

Please be aware that it is illegal to park on the Market Place other than in the designated parking bays. Parking enforcement is in place and illegally parked vehicles will be issued with a parking ticket
