Night Market Comes To Belper Mill

For one night the historic Strutt Mill building and surrounding area of Belper will be transformed into a food and craft and arts focused party.

The night market, which has run for three years in Derby and Nottingham, is being organised by Sheen Holland and will feature a revolving cast of traders.

Dishes from all over the world will be served from stalls and trucks; regular options include gourmet meats, vegan and vegetarian handmade foods and cakes.

Aiming for it to be a market with a festival feel, it will thread in and out of the Mill and adjoining car parks by the river. Visitors will find handmade crafts by local Derbyshire residents, vintage clothes, accessories, arts and much more. There will also be live entertainment.

Sheena Holland is a fashion designer from Derby who creates headbands, bridal tiaras, jewellery and hats made from vintage materials using re-worked leather, antique, vintage jewellery and feathers. Her designs have sold to many people, clients include singers Pink, Lily Allen and comedian Alan Carr.

The night market will take place on November the 24th from 5:00 pm until 10:00.
