Public Invited To Belper Neighbourhood Plan AGM

A warm invitation is extended to all interested members of the public to attend the AGM of the Belper Neighbourhood plan. The meeting will take place on 22^ND September, 7pm at Town Council Offices, St John’s Chapel, Belper.

What is a Neighbourhood Plan?

Neighbourhood planning is a new way for communities to decide the future of the places where they live and work. They give a community the opportunity to be able to: choose where they want new homes, shops and retail developments to be built. It is also a roadmap for how a town will develop in the future.

The Neighbourhood Plan For Belper Steering group will be presenting an outline of their work in the first 12 months of consultations and assessments. They will be able to give some indication of the feedback and findings so far and explain the further work planned. It will also be the  opportunity to confirm membership of the Steering group and encourage further public involvement.
