Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations

Belper Town Council will be celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday by holding several events during the lead up to the day. They are as follows:

Best Dressed Shop Window

Businesses are invited to dress their shop window.  The competition will be judged week commencing 6 June 2016.  Prizes and certificates will be awarded to premises that catch the judges’ eye for its fantastic use of red, white and blue styled theme.  the overall winner will receive a trophy which will be presented by the Town Mayor.  Closing date for entries Friday 3 June 2016.  Click here for your entry form

ROYAL CELEBRATION DINNER – FRIDAY 17 JUNE 2016, 7PM

A three course Royal Celebration Dinner will be held at the Nailer’s Conference Centre.  Tickets are £20 per person and are available from Belper Town Council’s office.  Please contact the office for further details 01773 822116 mornings, admin@belpertowncouncil.gov.uk

MEMORIAL GARDENS EVENT – SUNDAY 19 JUNE 2016

From 2pm until 4pm there will be entertainment in the Memorial Gardens for children.  There will be a break from 4pm until 5pm then a music event will start and continue until 8pm to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.  There will be some charity stalls outside the Memorial Gardens please contact the Council if your charity is interested in having a stall 01773 822116 mornings, admin@belpertowncouncil.gov.uk

FLAGS AND BUNTING – LETS PAINT THE TOWN RED,WHITE AND BLUE
