Over the Christmas period thousands of unwanted or broken electrical appliances are being replaced over the county. To tackle waste Derbyshire County Council are offering an incentive to recycle your old appliances.
You can take your unwanted household electricals to one of their recycling centres from 2 January for your chance to win one of 15 £100 prizes.
They’ve teamed up with recycling firm Advantage Waste Brokers to encourage people living in Derbyshire to recycle their unwanted or broken electrical goods instead of throwing them in the bin.
So whether you want rid of an old hair-dryer, hedge-trimmer, toaster or TV, take it along to one of the recycling centres and trade it in for a golden ticket.
The more items people recycle, the more tickets they will collect − which means more chances to win. And you’ll be doing your bit for the environment too by preventing precious metals and other valuable materials they contain from going to waste.
Do you have a golden ticket?
Simply enter your unique ticket number by following the link below to see if you’re a winner. If you’re unsuccessful this time, don’t forget to leave your contact details to be entered into a prize draw to win £100.
