Strutt’s North Mill Annual Boxing Day Heritage Walk

This Boxing Day will see the Strutt’s North Mill Annual Heritage walk take place around Belper.

The walk will commence at the Mill at 2pm, is £4 per person (under 11s free) and all funds raised go towards the museum.

Adrian Farmer, heritage co-ordinator for the world heritage site, will lead the walk around the town. Adrian will have a folder packed with old photos to show people during the tour – including the featured image of Bridge Street in the 1880s – Rifleman’s Arms on the far right, the Lord Nelson on the left.

Afterwards there will be hot drinks and refreshments to finish off the walk in the mill, as well as a chance to see the exhibition of historic photographs on Belper’s High Street shops.

No need to book – just turn up.
