WHAT'S ON

Bonfire Radicals & The Way Out – The Queens Head, Belper. April 27th

The freewheeling, exuberant fusion of folk, jazz and psychedelia that is Bonfire Radicals returns to The Queens Head, Belper on April 27th.

Anchored by guitar/bouzouki maestro Andy Bole, the band showcases some of the most exciting young musicians around but it is more than just a window for young talent.

Breaking down musical boundaries as just another fence to smash  they seamlessly fuse folk roots, world beats and spiralling jazz to whip up a joyous tornado of sound.

It was this tornado that took last year’s Exile Festival by storm and left the audience crying out for more.

Support on this occasion comes from Loughborough duo The Way Out whose song writing and musical accomplishments mark them out as an act to follow.

Tickets are £8.
