Missed Bin Collections Due to Snow

The bins are still out all over Belper as residents wait for the missed bin collections that were cancelled (due to snow) to finally happen.

Environmental Services at Amber Valley Borough Council have confirmed that there will be no additional bin collections as “we haven’t got time to catch up without it impacting on this week’s collections.”  So last week’s collection is completely cancelled and normal bin collection will resume on the schedule set for your postcode.  You can check your next collection by putting in your postcode and selecting your address on the AVBC My Property page, then look under Waste for your collection schedule.

AVBC have confirmed that they will collect extra waste/recycling on the next scheduled collection (two week’s time) and it should be bagged up beside your bin.
