Plastic Free February: Schools Library Service Presents New Exhibition

The Schools Library Service has an exhibition of beautiful objects made from recycled materials which are currently on display in the craft cabinet at Belper Library for the public to enjoy and appreciate. recycle

There are tin trucks, plastic baskets and more in the large collection of finely made objects created from recycled materials.

For lovers of craft, or those who simply need inspiration to do something creative with their leftover waste, the exhibition is an encouraging set of ideas on how to use materials which you might otherwise throw away.

Belper Library, on Bridge Street, is open at the following times:

Monday: 9am to 5pm 
Tuesday: 9am to 7pm
Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
Thursday: 9am to 7pm
Friday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 4pm
