Appeal For Witnesses After Assault In Belper
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Belper.
Between 10pm and 10.30pm on Saturday, November 18, the boy was attacked on three separate occasions in the town centre by a number of men.
The first incident took place on Nottingham Road, the second on the Market Place and then a further altercation took place again on the Market Place.
It is understood that the attackers were known to the victim. He suffered a broken jaw and broken nose.
A member of the public is believed to have intervened in the first altercation on Nottingham Road and officers are keen for anyone who witnessed any of the altercations – or was in the area at the time – to come forward.
