KUNST Event #7

KUNST GALLERY are privileged to present an extraordinarily powerful installation by artist Stephen Elvidge.

 The theme of installation warrants an unconventional approach to its presentation and as such we have hired space at the Belper Community Cottage for this event. The installation demands a personal examination of the present, past and future and in particular the difficulties associated with the loss of loved ones either physically or through degenerative disease.

A private event will be held on the Friday (11st November) evening and will include a chance to talk directly with Stephen about his work with a live acoustic performance by Macclesfield musician Dave Hudson.

On Saturday (12th November) the installation will be open to the public with Stephen on hand to discuss his work. ATPA (All The People Arts) will also be running a taster art workshop entitled ‘HERE I AM, I AM HERE’ for people living with dementia (booking essential).

The Alzheimer’s Society and other recognised dementia organisations will be on hand for drop in support throughout the day. An event not to be missed.
