Poem: Snowdrops Mirror by Jo Kirk
Snowdrops mirror
a distant blizzard
and flurries remind
the early spring
that winter’s realm
has stretched its wings,
the slender
long-necked heads
of daffodils
remain in buds
and the box
may yet be bitten
by the frost.
