Belper and Duffield Rotary’s Santa Sleigh Schedule 2015

December brings Santa to Belper again, thanks to the Belper and Duffield Rotary Club.  As usual the Rotary will be helping Santa to see as many children as possible on his travels around Belper and Duffield whilst collecting for charity.

Will Santa be in your street this December?  Below are the dates and routes of the Santa Sleigh and the dates that Santa will be visiting other places in Belper (in case his sleigh couldn’t get down your road because his reindeer are resting up for Christmas Eve and he can’t fly until they are ready).  All of the Sleigh Runs start at 5:30pm.

Dec 8th    –   Belper route no. 2 Santa Street Collection

This 3 mile run starts at Herbert Strutt School and includes:
Nailers Way, Thornhill Avenue (inc. Rowan Court), Belrope Acre, Sycamore Croft, Acacia Croft, Millbank Avenue (inc. Redhill Court), Barley Croft, Snowberry Avenue, Birdview, Honeyview, Milldale Court, Mullberry Close, Walnut Avenue, Maple Drive, Alder Road, Cedar Grove, Chestnut Avenue, Jubilee Court, Willow Grove, Park Road and finishes on Lime Crescent.

Starts at Chestnut Close and includes:
St. Ronan’s Avenue, Lodge Close, Oak Close, Wirksworth Road, park Road, Old Hall Avenue, Hazel Grove, Old Mill Close, Broom Close, Springfield Close, Meadow Vale, New Zealand Lane, Devonshire Drive, Curzon Lane, Cavendish Close, Hall Farm Road, Melbourne Close and finishes at St. Margaret’s Church.

Dec 16th  –   Belper route no. 1 Santa Street Collection

Starts at Nailers Way and includes:
harrier Road, Falcons Rise,Pottery Close, Davenport Close, Arkwright Avenue, Beeley Close, Thornton Way, Edensor Drive, Pilsley Close, Norbury Way, Marston Close, Astlow Drive, Calver Close, Ashford Rise, Finder Close, Maidwell Close, Orton Way, Welton Close, Grendon Close, Applewood Close and finishing back on Nailers Way.

Starts at Ecclesbourne Meadows and includes:
Sefton Way, Cornhill Close, Moulbourn Drive, William Close, Holloway Road, Tamworth Street, Crown Street, Hazlewood Road, Castle View and Station Road to finish at the A6 junction.

Dec 12th & 13th Santas Grotto at De Bradeleigh Store. The grotto looks absolutely lovely and the presents are all great for only £3 entrance

Dec 23rd   –   Santa on King Street, Belper
